During operation, the diaphragm moves in a radial direction, expanding and contracting the volume of the fluid chamber. This action creates a vacuum during the expansion phase, drawing fluid into the chamber through the inlet valve. As the diaphragm contracts, the volume of the chamber decreases, causing the fluid to be expelled through the outlet valve.
